Aaron Anthony Elmore, Sr., 28, of Lee's Summit, Missouri, passed away on October 5, 2016. He was born July 27, 1988 in Kansas City, Missouri to Aaron E. Elmore, Jr. and Rhonda Williams. His father and his grandfather, Aaron E. Elmore Sr. preceded him in death. Aaron attended Raytown High School and later graduated from the Adult Basics Education Program in the KCMO School District. As a child he was an active member of Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church where he was a youth usher and a member of the youth choir. He also participated in Young Warriors for Christ. Those who knew Aaron knew he was a lover of sports. He was quite athletic playing football, basketball and softball for many community organizations and churches. Aaron always greeted others with a smile, followed by hugs and kisses. He had a big heart and was always there to help when needed. His presence and clumsiness will be greatly missed by all. He leaves to cherish his memory: his pride and joy, his son Aaron A. Elmore, Jr.; fiancé, Megan Schraad; mother, Rhonda Williams; grandparents, Cornelia Trice-Boykin and Julia A. Williams; two brothers, Lawrence E. Barr II and Ocie B. Staten III (Mary-Alice Randolph); four sisters, Catrina Elmore, Mariah Elmore, Lathasia Lewis (Lance) and Florence McGregor; three nephews, two nieces, and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 15, 1:00 p.m. at Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the church.
