Adrienne, daughter of Glenn Franklin Handley and Mary E. Smith Handley, was born February 2, 1936 in Iola, Kansas. She received her Certificate of Church Membership, where she publicly confessed Jesus Christ as Lord and Savior, at Ward Chapel African Methodist Episcopal Church of Iola, Kansas on February 29, 1948. She attended public schools and graduated from Iola High School and Junior College. Her life long aspiration was to teach small children. Adrienne had been a member of the Lee's Summit community, since 1998. She worked at Walmart from 2000-2012. She was an inspiration to all she meet. Adrienne will be remembered by her family and friends for her many loving ways, her loyalty and support, her deep faith and zest for living which she shared with all who were privileged to know her. She was preceded in death by her Sister, Beverly A. Handley Rogers; Father, Glen F. Handley: Mother, Mary E. Handley. She will be deeply missed but never forgotten by her Sister Gwendolyn Seals; Brother, Glenn S. Handley: Nieces, DeAun Rimmer, Dana Allen, Dawn Seals, Lachel Williams, LaTonya rogers, Gia Garza; Nephews, Gregory Seals, Stanley Seals, Shawn Seals, Primalton Peterson, and Monty Rogers also host of other nieces, nephews, great nieces and nephews and other relatives and many friends.
