Adrienne Denise Williams-Wilson, 53, was born on December 10, 1963 to the union of John and Mary (Foster) Wilson in Kansas City, Kansas. Her parents and grandparents all preceded her in death. As a lifelong area resident, Adrienne was educated in the Kansas City Missouri public schools and attended Paseo High School. She was employed for many years at Church's Chicken until her health began to fail. Adrienne accepted Christ at an early age and attended Mount Vernon Missionary Church. She truly loved the Lord and was a bold witness for him, even when sometimes being misunderstood in her firm style of witnessing for her Lord. She wanted everybody to know how good God is and she prayed that all she came in contact with would have a saving knowledge of Christ. Adrienne loved spending time with her family and will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved her. She departed this life on Monday, March 20, 2017 at Truman Medical Center. She leaves to cherish her memory: one son, Aaron Wilson of Kansas City, MO; one brother, John Wilson (Shirley) of Indianapolis, IN; one sister, Pamela Wilson of Kansas City, MO; two grandchildren, Alesia Wilson and Aaron Wilson, Jr.; and a host of other relatives and friends. Memorial services will be Saturday, April 1, 2:00 p.m. at Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
