Alonzo Williams Sr, 85 went home to be with the Lord on June 14, 2021. Alonzo was born on April 7, 1936, to Florence Stevenson and A.J. Williams in Enid, Oklahoma. Alonzo married Patsy in 1959 and from this union two children were born. Later in life Alonzo married Debra and from this union four children were born. Alonzo attended Enid Public Schools and later in life he joined the army. While in the army Alonzo was training to become a paratrooper. Alonzo accepted Christ at an early age and was a member of Second Baptist Church in Kansas City, MO. He later joined Sheffield Family Life Center and was an active member. Alonzo retired from Prime Freight Transport & Logistics Trucking Company in Springfield MO after working there for over 30 years. Alonzo enjoyed spending time with family & friends, playing dominoes, fishing, and humming a toon. Alonzo was preceded in death by his parents, oldest daughter: Gloria, youngest son: Vincent, two sisters, two brothers, four grandchildren: Dywan, Shawn, Amin Jr. & Kamari. He leaves to cherish his memory 2 daughters; Christine (Anthony) Hill, & Ephiffany (Robert) Thomas, 3 sons; Stanley Williams, Alonzo Williams Jr. & Kenneth Lowe. Grandchildren: Dawn, Donald, Antwon, Lykisha, Maya, Montez, Tamisha, Antoinette, Cynthia, Lashelle, & Antoine, 36 great grandchildren, & 31 great-great grandchildren. Brothers & sister; Mr. & Mrs. Edward McCallop, Alvin Brooks and a host of other family & friends.
