Anna Rose Hutton Riley departed this life into eternal rest on January 26, 2020 in Lees Summit, Missouri. She was born on February 24, 1941 in New Orleans, Louisiana to the late Williana and Eli Hutton. She was educated in Orleans Parish Public Schools and later attended Dilliard University in New Orleans where she received a Bachelor's of Science Degree in Chemistry. She then furthered her education and attended Tulane University in New Orleans and received a Master's Degree in Social Work. Her educational achievements placed her as the sibling with the highest degree of education in the Hutton family. After attending high school, she moved to Los Angeles California and married the late David Riley and from their union, her beloved and devoted daughter Janine Riley was born.

Anna Rose was one of five siblings from her parents as she joins two, Roslyn and Yvonne in heavenly ascension and leaving behind two brothers, Edward and Michael Hutton. She was the grandmother of Brianna Jade and Alexis Keyon Harrison. She was also the great grandmother of Sekou, Storm, and Ka' Lani. She leaves behind a host of nieces and nephews including Richard Hutton Sr., Aleshia Hutton, Sean Hutton, Wilauna Jackson, George Anthony Jackson, and Michelle Hutton. She also leaves her surviving in laws, George L. Jackson, JoAnn Hutton, Bryan Harrison Patricia and Joel McElroy. Also, her devoted lifelong friends Marie Kaigler and Eloise. Anna Rose has a hosts of great nieces and nephews, friends, and family members that grieve her loss.
