Anton DeAnthony "A1" Martin, of Kansas City, Missouri died on Wednesday, June 10, 2020. He was born on March 21, 1980 to Kim Martin Barnes and raised by Kim & Glenn Barnes, Sr. in Kansas City, Missouri. He was preceded in death by his grandfather, Ronnie Martin, grandmother, Lola Walker, grandparents, John and Ruby Bullock, aunts, Pamela Martin and Linda Kelso and cousin, Tina Kelso.
Anton lived in the Kansas City area most of his young life and later moved to Thornton, Colorado where he received his formal education. He was a graduate of Thornton High School class of 1997. He loved sports and was a standout football player for the Brighton Bulldogs in Brighton, Colorado.
Anton was an avid motorcycle rider and was the President and Founder of SavdOut Motorcycle Club in Kansas City, Missouri. He loved riding motorcycles and enjoyed his favorite past time "Parking Lot Pimping". He had a golden heart and would help anyone, he loved women, his bumpy face and his family.
He leaves to cherish his memory, his children, Anmariah Martin, Anniya Martin and Anbriel Martin; his parents, Gleen and Kim Barnes, Kansas City, MO; brothers, Andrew Holmes, Glenn Barnes, Jr. and Shaun Clayton; sisters, Rita Ridley and Ava Barnes, all of Kansas City, MO; grandmother, Marilyn Bowmen, Raytown, MO; uncles, Danny Martin, CA., Perry Walker, Kansas City, MO, Ronnie Martin and Fred Moore, St. Joseph, MO; aunts, Joyce Martin, St. Joseph, MO, Maryann Dueberry, Union, CA, Katherine Williams and Charnice Jackson, Kansas City, MO, Carleasha Kelly, Independence, MO and Lisa Hood, Raytown, MO; cousins, Mark Wilson, Frederick Martin-Moore, Jr., Starr Henderson (Carl) and Gerome Guy, a host of other uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.
Funeral service Saturday, June 27, 2020, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment XII Gardens Memorials. Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on or website.
