Obituary

Aressa Strickland was born January 3, 1965 to her loving parents Luvenia & Brown Strickland. She was the fourth child out of five siblings, Levan, Shederon, Samuel and Courtney.

Aressa was born and raised in Kansas City, MO. She graduated from South East High School in 1983. After that she had her 1st job at a convenience store called Sam Laven Sunshine Market.

She then worked at Quick Cash. Noticing that she was good with computers, she got a job at the IRS where she was a Data Processor for many years.

At the age of 18 she meet her best friend Tarrell, after many years, he became the love of her life. Just a few years later they had their first child, Lesa Renea. Then afterwards had their second child Courtney Tarrell.

With her cozy family of 4 she loved to take trips. Her favorite holiday was Independence Day (4th of July we call it). Her top favorite thing she loved to do with her family was go out to eat and then go to the boat (when her children were old enough of course). Before then it would be the movies, arcades, carnivals etc.

Aressa departed this world, the morning of October 15, 2020.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory Tarell (spouse), Lesa (daughter), Courtney (son), Natasha & NaKisha (nieces), Michael (nephew), a host of other nieces, nephews, family members and friends.
