Armonus "Weevie" McDaniel. Jr., 74, passed away on July 28, 2019 surrounded by family. Weevie was born September 18, 1944 in Moro, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his father, Armonus McDaniel; brothers, Mike Chaney and Edward Lee McDaniel; and daughter, Sandra Thomas.

Weevie spent his career as a truck driver for Deffenbaugh Disposal in Kansas City from which he retired after 20 years of service.

He leaves behind: his children, Michael McDaniel, Valerie McDaniel, Kenneth McDaniel, Robert McDaniel and Jamie McDaniel; his mother, Dilland Butler; brothers, Joel McDaniel, Solomon McDaniel, Fred McDaniel and Ricky McDaniel; sisters, Arma Lee Lindsay, Ivory McClain, Queenett McCowan, Verna Wallace, Earlene Smith, Phyllis Morris, Kay Slatton and Lenecia McDaniel; grandchildren, Timmy F., Katina, Trevon, Olivia, Darico, Damrio, Deontae, Davonte, Robert F., Kendrek, Kenneth, Kentrice, Timmy M., Robert M., Alexis, Eimaj, and Jayden; a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services Saturday, August 3, 1:00 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
