Artesha Marie 'Pookie' Singleton, 27, KCMO, passed away on October 1, 2016. She was born February 9, 1989 in Kansas City, Missouri to the union of Archie Singleton, Jr. and Marsha Singleton. She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Martha Singleton, Jessie Anderson, Cleveland Singleton, Carrie Singleton, Lucille Isaac and Shelby Roberson; and an aunt, Carroll Lloyd. 'Tesha', as she was affectionately known was educated in the Kansas City Missouri School District, graduating from Imagine Renaissance Academy and furthering her education at Lincoln University. Tesha loved spending time with her family and shared a special bond with her son. She leaves to cherish her memory: her son, Kenyon Singleton; father, Archie Singleton, Jr.; mother, Marsha Singleton; grandfather, Archie Singleton, Sr.; sister, Marketa Singleton; niece, J'Averi Yates; a host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, October 7, 2:30 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:30-2:30 p.m. at the chapel.
