Barbara Jean Mack was a blessing to the late Ozie Reams and Tommy Mack, on September 17, 1956. She was the second child of seven siblings. Barbara was raised by her grandparents, Alfred and Rosie Reams who preceded her in death. Barbara accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized at Mt. Bayou Missionary Baptist Church.

She received her early education from Martin Elemenary and graduated from Altheimer High School in 1974.

After graduating Barbara moved to Washington D.C., where she worked for the FBI. While there, she went to college. She then moved to Kansas City, MO, where she worked for Blankenship for a few years, and then she went to the IRS where she remained until her health failed. Barbara also received her Masters Degree in Business Administration in 1998 after her move to Kansas City, MO.

Barbara joined Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church were she was a faithful member and served on the Usher Board, and she also worked with the Children.

On Monday, February 3, 2020, another one of God's angels received her wings and took flight to her heavenly home at 5:17 a.m.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Allen Lampkin, two nephews,DeMetres Fountain, and Kevin Lampkin.

She leaves to cherish her memories (5) sisters, Rosie (Ben) Singleton, Memphis, TN; Sharon (Bruce) Collins, Walls, MS; Stephanie (Gregory) Wright; Carla Mack; Toni (James) Samuels all of Kansas City; (6) brothers, Johnnie Mack of Memphis, TN; Richard Lampkin, Willie (Sonja) Lampkin both of Little Rock, AR; Cedric McKenzie, Plano, TX; Duane Mack and Byron Mack both of Kansas city, MO; and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.

Memorial Service Saturday, February 22, 2020, 12:30 p.m. at Metropolitan Missionary Baptist Church.Private Disposition. Service conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
