Obituary

Beatrice Williamson, 62, was born August 9, 1955 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Ella Fae Simmons and Nalmus Randolph. Her parents; grandparents, Neomi Carter, Sam and Isabell Randolph; son, Nalmus Williamson and brother, William Joseph Williamson preceded her in death.

Beatrice was educated in the public schools of Kansas City and graduated from East High School in 1973, where she received the nickname "Sweet Bea". She furthered her education at Penn Valley Community College and Avila College. She later gained employment in the nursing field working at the Veterans Administration Hospital.

Beatrice accepted Christ as her personal Savior and was a member of Gilbert Memorial A.M.E. Church where she sang in the choir.

Beatrice enjoyed singing, cooking and making people laugh. She was so full of life and love for her family and friends. Her memory will live on in the hearts of all she knew and loved.

She is survived by her daughter, Dawnielle Williamson and three granddaughters, Arrieona Williamson, LaCherie Williamson and Nilya Moore; her siblings, Ayres Williamson Roosevelt Williamson and Ronnie Williamson; sisters through love, Dorita McCormick and Carolyn Wilson; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins and friends.
