Obituary

Benjamin Gabriel Reed, known well as Ben, was born on April 29, 1976, in Wiesbaden, Hessen,

Germany to the parents of Bruce Edward Reed and Evelyn Sue Reed. Ben departed this life on

Monday, November 23, 2020, in Clinton County outside of Polo, MO at the age of 44.

Ben graduated from North Kansas City High School in North Kansas City, MO in 1996. He

received a Bachelor of Science Degree in 2005 from Central Missouri State University in

Warrensburg, MO where he majored in Psychology and minored in Business. While at Central

Missouri State University, he received the McNair Scholar Award along with Best

Undergraduate Paper Award from the Department of Psychology. Ben went on to receive his

Master of Arts in Counseling in 2009, awarded by Regent University in Virginia Beach,

Virginia. In 2012, he attained a certificate from C1 Truck Driver Training School in Stafford,

MO and began to pursue a truck driving career. One of his goals was to establish his own

business, and by 2019, he formed Tri-union Logistical Enterprise, LLC., which was contracted

with M&J Transportation in 2020.

Benjamin married Brenda Willene Manning on May 31, 2003 in Overland Park, KS. Together

they lived in Kansas City, MO with their five beautiful children. He was faithful to instill his

Christian beliefs in his children from an early age, teaching them from the Bible, praying with

them, and educating them in the ways of God and the world. Ben enjoyed spending time with his

church family and sharing God with others. He loved riding motorcycles, driving, grilling

outdoors, camping, and dreaming big.

Ben's life will forever be cherished in the lives of his wife Brenda Reed, daughter Moyra Reed,

son Isaiah Reed, daughter Abigail Reed, son Daniel Reed, and daughter Rachel Reed, father

Bruce Reed, sister Amy McClellan, father-in-law Grover Manning, mother-in-law Marcia

Manning; a host of nieces, nephews, and brother/sister in-laws.

Funeral services will be held at World of Life Community Church at 11 am. Interment Raymore Cemetery. Visitation 9 am - 11 am. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website. The memorial link is: https://everloved.com/life-of/benjamin-reed/ .
