Obituary

Betty Lou Martis-Cobins departed this life peacefully on July 10, 2018 at Truman Medical Center. She was born November 15, 1931 in Centerville, Iowa to Lewis and Bessie Conley.

Betty spent most of her young life in Centerville, Iowa. She married Raymond Martis and had five children. She later made her home in Kansas City Missouri. Betty accepted the Lord and Savior Jesus Christ at early age at Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church. She was accomplished at childcare and housekeeping for families, primarily the Sutherlands and the Sinclairs. She also worked at the Presidential Hotel. At the age of thirty-two she met her soulmate, McKinley "Mack" Cobins who she later married in May of 2011.

Through all her pain and suffering she maintained her care to look fabulous at all times and keeping it real.
