Obituary

Billy Sack White, 77, was the youngest of seven children born to Sandy and Katie White on June 4, 1939 in Kansas City, Missouri. Both parents, two brothers and three sisters preceded him in death. 'Sack', as he was affectionately known, received his education in the Kansas City, Missouri public school system. He worked as a painter for forty-one years where his slogan was, 'My paint brush will travel' and that it did! Sack departed this life on October 29, 2016. He was a very devoted father and grandfather who will be deeply missed by all whose life he touched. He leaves to celebrate his home going and cherish memory: his wife, Shirley A. White; two sons, Howard White and Danny White (Angela); two daughters, Robyn Weatherspoon (Graham) and Chandra Wilson (Cedric); step-children, John Phillips (Claudette), Ricky Debose and Mamie Phillips; one brother, Dan White (Gustava); special family members, Ms. Artress Buford and Larry Washington; and a host of grandchildren, great grandchildren, cousins, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, November 4, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment Brooking Cemetery. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Services conduct by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
