Bobby Lem Miller, 75, of Blue Springs, Missouri, passed away at Centerpoint Medical Center on January 19, 2018. He was born August 11, 1942 in Boswell, Oklahoma to the late Chalmas Miller and Magalene Smith Miller. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Curtis "CL" and Walter Douglas "Sonny", and two sisters, Maxine and Betty Earl.

Bobby was educated in Frederick, Oklahoma, graduating from Boyd high School, after which he moved to Kansas City, Missouri. He then enlisted in the United States Army during the Vietnam War.

Upon being honorably discharged he returned to Kansas City, where he became a member of Sacred Mission Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. L.O. Williams, until the Lord led him to united with Mt. Sinai Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Fate White, Jr. He was a faithful member until his health failed. Bobby also served as an usher and deacon at the Midwest District.

Bobby departed this life on January 19, 2018 at Centerpoint Medical Center. He will truly be missed by his family and friends, all of whom he loved and would do anything for.

He leaves to cherish his memory: two sisters, Versie Perry and Bessie Miller of Oakland, CA; two uncles, Wade Smith and Ray Smith of Frederick, OK; three aunts, Jearlene Williams of the home, Franceil Long of Alexandria, VA and Shirley Stevenson of Lawton, OK; special cousin/sister, Janice Garrett; two cousins, Joyce Coates of Kansas City, MO and Bonnie Coates of Norcross, GA and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
