Brenda Kaye Anderson, 67, was born September 24, 1948 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Ms. Louise Taylor. her twin sister, Linda Faye Brown also preceded her in death. As a lifelong area resident, she was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, graduating from Central High School in 1966. Upon completion of high school, Brenda furthered her education with general college courses. For several years Brenda was employed by GEHA Insurance Services as a file clerk. Her career began in 1987 until she retired in 2013, after nearly thirty years of dedicated service. Brenda gained her wings on April 12, 2016. She will be sincerely missed by all who knew and loved her. She leaves to cherish her memory: two children, Janine R. Anderson and Rico J. Anderson; one brother, Ronald Carroll (Denise); five grandchildren, Diamond Loyd, Ricoya Anderson, Shanetta Anderson, Shantell Wilson and Anisa Anderson; five great grandchildren, De'Aryion Simmons, Adrianne Anderson, Chloe Ellington, James Ellington IV and Aubrielle Ellington; Uncle Sidney, Aunt Dolly and family; and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.
