Brenda Lee Williams was born May 23, 1959, in Pickens, MS to the proud parents CD & Roberta Williams. She was preceded in death by

both maternal & paternal grandparents, along side her two brothers, Melvin and Eugene Williams.

Brenda Williams met the love of her life, Maurice Scott and to their union they've raised three beautiful children seventeen years.

Brenda received her education through the Kansas City, Missouri School District.

Brenda worked numerous jobs throughout her life. Her pride and joy was working for the Nova Center, there she enjoyed caring for

developmentally disable for seven years before her health begin to fail.

Brenda was baptized at a very early age. She belonged to the Holy Temple of Jesus under the pastoral leadership of her aunt Agnes Ferdinand.

She later joined Heaven Sent Community Baptist Church, under the leadership Senior Pastor Reverend Samuel L. Martin and First Lady

Reverend Linda Martin.

Brenda really enjoyed cooking on the holidays for her family. She loved spending time with her grand babies and talking on the phone

to her girlfriends. She really loved hard.

Brenda leaves to cherish her memories: a son, Maurice Williams; two daughters, Tina Porter (Aaron) and LaQuitis Williams (Melvin) all

of Kansas city, MO; a aunt, Gelendora Johnson; three sisters, Cinthea Williams (George), Teresa Williams (Brian) and Sharon Goodloe (Dexter);

four brothers, David Williams, Charlie Williams, Earl Galloway, James Galloway; ten grand kids; eleven great grandkids; a host of nephews,

nieces, other relatives and very close friends.

Funeral services Saturday, December 28, 11:00 a.m. at Heaven Sent Missionary Baptist Church. Private disposition. Visitation 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
