Bryan Keith Reeves, 53, KCMO, passed away on July 31, 2017 at Research Medical Center. He was born May 1, 1964 in Kansas City, Missouri to Hobart R. Reeves, Jr. and Dianne (Shepherd) Reeves. He was preceded in death by his father; brother, Hobart R. Reeves III; paternal grandmother, Ruth Reeves; maternal grandfather, Dewey V. Shepherd and maternal grandmother, Rose Brown-Bolton. Bryan was educated in the Kansas City Missouri Public School District, graduating from Southwest High School in 1982. He later attended Manual Vocational Technical School, earning his certification in Welding. Bryan accepted Christ and was a member of Bowers Memorial C.M.E. Church. Bryan loved roller skating. His passion for roller skating lead him to Lisa Watson and in 1986, he became a father to his only daughter. He also enjoyed working with his hands, particularly welding and carpentry. Bryan extended himself to others by using his talents and abilities to make things better. He believed he could fix anything. He leaves to cherish his memory: his daughter, Brittney A. Johnson (Joel) of Las Vegas, NV; mother, Dianne Reeves; brothers, Tyrone Reeves and Garron Reeves; twin sister, Bridget Kimber all of Kansas City, MO; grandsons, JoKai Karl, Joheil and Nye'Joel; special cousin/BFF, Staci Brown-Davis; a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins and many friends. Memorial services will be Saturday, August 12, 11:00 a.m. at Bowers Memorial C.M.E. Church. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
