Byron was known for his charm, comedic nature, and sense of humor.
Byron Dean Brantley, age 73, of Kansas City, Missouri passed away peacefully at home on 7/29/3026 surrounded by family.
Born 1/4/1953 in Kansas City, Byron was the beloved son of Kathleen Brantley and Arzell Gates. Byron was known for his charm, comedic nature, and sense of humor.
He enjoyed watching sports, listening to old school R&B music, watching old cowboy movies, and hanging out with his first cousins, other family and friends. Byron attended and graduated from Central High School. He later went on to attend technical school to specialize in electronics, earning several degrees and certificates from AA Technology, The Electronic Institute, and Penn Valley College. Byron worked at the Sears Repair Center, Truman Medical Center as an Engineering Assistant, for the Water Services Department, and Wilcox
Electric. He last worked at Spot Not Car Wash as a Car Wash Installation
& Repair Technician for over 10 years until he was forced to retire due to
illness.
He was preceded in death by his mother Kathleen Brantley; and a daughter, Nicole L. Moore-Pippens. He is survived by his children; Erika Brantley, Brian Norris (Tanasha), Carey Blackwell (Gerry), Kelly Ware, Tiffany Brantley, Byron Jr., Antionette Estis (Lee), Shawn Brantley, and Joshua Brantley. He is also survived by his mother’s only two living siblings out of twelve; Clara Jackson and Richard Brantley, two beloved sisters; Ronna Kaye and Kenya, his only niece Marquita, a great niece M’Sharra, and a host of grandchildren and great grandchildren. In addition; favorite cousins, other relatives, and friends who will cherish his memory.
