Cammie L. Thomas, 62, KCMO, passed away on March 17, 2018 at Research Medical Center. She was born February 2, 1956 in Greenville, Mississippi to the union of Willie and Elzina Williams. She was preceded in death by her father, Willie Williams, Sr. and a brother, Willie Williams, Jr. Cammie was educated in the public schools of Greenville, Mississippi, St. Louis, Missouri and Toledo, Ohio before making her home in Kansas City, Missouri.

Cammie accepted Christ at an early age and her love for Christ continued to grow. At the time of her passing, she was employed at Calvary Lutheran Church and School.

Cammie was an avid sports fan, the Cleveland Cavaliers and the Kansas City Chiefs being her favorite teams. She was a strong-willed woman whose quiet character and spirit radiated her inner humbleness and zest for life.

Cammie was united in marriage to Kevin Thomas on August 8, 1998. She loved her family and enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, as well as friends.

She leaves to cherish her memory: her husband, Kevin Thomas; sons, Carl Williams, Andre Williams and Kevin Thomas, Jr.; daughters, Alicia Williams and Starlette Grey; her mother, Elzina Williams; brothers, Morris Williams, Charles Williams, Roderick Williams and Cleotha Williams; sisters, Emma Jean Tyler, Joyce Burge, Linda Walker, Jacqueline Williams and Gina Williams; an aunt, Ruby; special friend, Laura May; twenty-two grandchildren, three great grandchildren, and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, extended family and friends.

Funeral services Saturday, March 24, 11:00 a.m. at Calvary Lutheran Church. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
