Carla L. Birdwell, 57, was born on July 15, 1962 to the union of Carl Clifford Fisher and Bertha Lee (Harris) Fisher in Santa Barbara, California. She was preceded in death by her father ,maternal grandparents, I. V. and Cedelar B. Jones and a son, Tyrone Birdwell.

Carla was relocated to the Kansas City area with her family where she made her home. She was educated in the Kansas City Missouri and the Grandview public schools. She was a graduate of Grandview High School. She furthered her education an obtained a nursing degree.

Carla accepted Christ at an early age and united with the Prince of Peace Missionary Baptist Church. She was employed at Sam's Club and later as a nurse at Bishop Spencer Place until her health begin to fail.

She departed this life on Sunday, May 17, 2020 at the home.

She leaves to cherish her memory, her son, Terry Birdwell; mother, Bertha Richardson; one sister, Pamela Collins; two grandchildren, Tyriana Birdwell and Trezhure Birdwell, a host of other relatives and friends.
