Carrie Frances Turner, 79, was born June 3, 1939 to Bessie Turner and Isiah McIntyre in Kansas City, Missouri.

Carrie grew up in Kansas City, Missouri and attended R.T. Coles High School. She was employed at Hallmark Cards for a number of years. Carrie professed her knowledge of Jesus Christ and trusted Him as her Lord and Savior. Carrie departed this earth on Monday June 18, 2018 at Truman Medical Center. She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters Gladys Bradley and Ruby McIntyre; daughter Janice Miller, and grandchild Mikilos Taylor.

Carrie had a deep and loving relationship with her children Arch and Sharon Turner who will mourn her passing. Carrie had a special place for her grandchildren Nina Turner, Martinez Turner, Mikell Taylor, Michael and Trina Miller and Arch C.J. Turner. Carrie and her children had a very close relationship with the late Williams and Gladys Bradley, and the surviving children, Donna King, Marvin Bradley, Sr., and Carla Smocks. She also leaves 19 great grandchildren, 11 great-great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services Saturday, June 30, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment Forest Hill Cemetery. Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
