Catherine Raylene Wagner was born July 23, 1931 in Otterville, Missouri to Clinton Williams and Lucille Williams. She was preceded in death by her husband O.C. Wagner, one son, Gary Hill, both parents, three brothers, E.C., Earnest and Charles Williams, one sister, Doris Hogan.

Catherine was educated in the public schools of Sedalia, Missouri. Graduating from CC Hubbard High School.

Catherine moved to Kansas City and married Robert Hill. In this union a son was born, Gary Hill this marriage was later dissolved. She would later marry O.C. Wagner, to this union a son Bryan Wagner was born.

Catherine was employed as a caregiver by several families in the Kansas City Area. She cooked, cleaned and help raised their children.

Catherine believed in kindness and demonstrated generosity. She never met a stranger, always willing to meet a need when she seen a need. She enjoyed putting a smile on faces and had a gift for making you feel special and important.

She was a life long member of Zion Grove Missionary Baptist Church Kansas City, MO.

Catherine departed this life on January 29th, 2020 at her home.

She leaves to cherish her memory: a devoted son, Bryan Wagner(Joy); stepson, Michael Wagner(Dianne); nephews, Tony and Terry Hogan, Andre Taylor, Earnest Williams Jr.; nieces, Theresa DeLaCruz (Hogan); a host of other family and friends.

Funeral service Thursday, February 6, 2020. 11:00 a.m. at United Believers Community Church. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Service conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
