Chad Michaels Cain, 28, was born on February 8, 1989 in Kansas City, Kansas to Michael Anthony Phillips and LaVonne Cain. Known by his family as 'Little Mike' and to his friends as 'Cain', Chad was educated in the Kansas City Missouri Public Schools. Chad enjoyed spending time with his children and special family members and friends. He had a special love for his grandmother 'Granny'. Chad was known for always telling jokes and entertaining his friends. Chad Michaels Cain departed this life June 7, 2017. He will be sorely missed by all who knew and loved him. He leaves to cherish his fond memory: four children, Chad Michaels Cain, Jr. (Tinisha Jordan, mother), Amiyah Cain, (LaTanya Short, mother), Aya Cain, (Ariel Juarez, mother), and Calise Cain (Tinisha Jordan, mother); his father, Michael A. Phillips (Tanya); mother, LaVonne Cain; brother, D'Andrea Danner (Savannah); paternal grandmother, Irene Phillips, maternal grandfather, Rhesa Cain; six aunts, Myrtle Burton, Evonne Patterson (Joe), JoEdna Cain, Dorothy Simmons, Claudia Henderson, and Toi Robinson; four uncles, Michael Cain, Clifton Cain, Michael Henderson (Karen), and George Henderson (Lucinda); special cousins, Erica Burton, Charlesia Gant, and Erione Gant; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Friday, June 16, 1:00 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Private disposition. Visitation will be from 12:00-1:00 p.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E.
