Charles Edward
Mcdonald Iii
Feb 12, 2009 — Mar 17, 2016
Master Charles Edward McDonald, III came into this world as a gift from God to his parents on February 12, 2009. From the beginning, everyone who met him knew there was something very special about this little powerhouse of energy. He began to show signs of natural rhythm as he beat on everything in sight and sung along. He took in everything and began to surprise those around him by holding conversations, solving puzzles, and playing games, especially video games, far beyond his years. He enjoyed swimming, soccer, robotics, building with Legos, watching Lab Rats on television and reading. C3, as he was affectionately known, was a very compassionate and loving child. He loved to help do whatever job was on the agenda of the day. Whether he was helping PaPa with his medical routine or helping Granny feed the birds, he did it all with great care and pride. He was his father's 'Buddy', mother's 'Love' and brother's 'Pooda'. All terms of endearment reflective of strong bonds of love. C3 attended Red Bridge Elementary, Boone Elementary and Santa Fe Elementary Schools and participated in special programs at Spofford Center. He was a member of Eels Soccer Team and the Evangel Church where he regularly attended and participated in the Children's Church, and the Praise and Worship Team. Master Charles Edward McDonald, III received his angel wings as he transcended to heaven on March 17, 2016. Wonderful memories of him will be cherished forever by his parents, Charles II and Alicia McDonald; brother, Christian McDonald; sister, Jordan McDonald; grandparents, Charles Sr. and Anita McDonald, Saundra Wallace, and Harry Lee; great grandmother, Dorothy Fuller; uncle, Ivan Lee; aunt, Marilyn Fuller and a host of great uncles, great aunts, cousins, and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 26, 11:00 a.m. at Evangel Church. Interment Sunset Garden of Memory - Millstadt, IL. Visitation will be from 9:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on this website.
