Charlotte Louise Byers ,70, was born August 27, 1949, to the union Curtis and Kathryn Pitts. She was preceded in death by both parents and a brother, Richard Pitts.

Charlotte grew up traveling with her younger siblings as a military child and later settled in Kansas City, Missouri with her family. She soon married and had three beautiful daughters, Tracey, Tawana and Tonya.

Charlotte was employed at Southwestern Bell Telephone company for over thirty-five years. During her employment she was promoted to senior management. She truly loved her job and all the people she worked with and managed over the years.

Charlotte loved to travel and shop. She was known for being dressed to the nines and her stiletto pumps.

Charlotte adored her family, but mostly she loved and cherished the special bond she shared with her daughters. We will miss her very much.

Charlotte is survived by: her three daughters, Tracey Pitts, Tawana Byers and Tonya Bittle; two sisters, Barbara and Cathy Pitts; one brother Russell Pitts;nine grandchildren;six great grandchildren; her life partner, Samuel Bittle; a host of other relatives and friends.
