Obituary

Christina Lee Hayes was born in Sioux City Iowa June 30th 1970 to Terry Hindman Hayes Tucker and David Hayes Sr.

Christina was a wonderful woman and she touched many lives.

Christina was a loving friend, daughter, sister, aunt, niece, and most of all MOTHER! Her son Terrell Lesean Hayes-Wilder and her daughter Tia Shanice Hayes-Wilder were her heart! She was such a beautiful person inside and out. One thing I know we'll all miss most is her big beautiful smile.

Christina went to Vatterott College where she graduated and earned her degree as a pharmacy tech before she became ill stemming from juvenile diabetes starting at age 6 years old.

Christina also had heart issues later on in life which required open heart surgery, which she bounced right back from. Again showing us her strength, courage, and fighting spirit. In the end she was diagnosed with cancer. The cancer started in the lung and spread to her brain and eventually her liver. She fought long and hard and lord knew she couldn't fight any longer.

Christina passed away May 21st 2020 just one month and 9 days short of her 50th birthday. If there is anything Christina taught us all would be to keep fighting and never give up!

Christina is survived by her two kids Tia and Terrell Hayes Wilder, her wonderful mother Terry Hindman Hayes Tucker, Boyfriend of 20 years Chris Haney, Two loving brothers Raymond Tucker and David Hayes Jr., and a loving sister Terra Tucker. She also has two cats and a dog that she loved dearly, many aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will also miss her. Christina is now in Heaven with her dad David Hayes Sr., paternal grandparents Sam and Betty Hayes, maternal grandmother Joan Hondman, A special Aunt Rae Ann Walton, and several other family members. Christina was a person that if you met you could never forget. Gone too soon but always in our hearts, thank you for blessing us with your presence. May she rest easy in Heaven. Loved ones are sending huggie bears to heaven! So long, Love you!
