Christopher
Hutson Jr.
May 12, 1998 — May 26, 2017
Our beautiful King Christopher Hutson, Jr., age 19 years and 2 weeks, began this journey on May 12, 1998 to his loving parents Christopher Sr. and Carthesa Hutson. Chris Jr. was the eldest of 3 boys and he took his role very seriously. Chris Jr. made sure his brothers Desmond, Jaiden, and his cousin Robert were okay at all times. Chris Jr and Desmond were like two peas in a pod, when you saw one you saw the other and they confided in each other for everything. Chris Jr. always gave Jaiden confidence and helped him feel good about himself at all times. Chris Jr. literally was the best big brother and protector his little brothers could ever ask for. The boys were inseparable they shared a bond like no other. Chris Sr. and Carthesa made sure that he accepted Christ at an early age. He attended Macedonia Baptist Church since the age of one, until God called him home. Chris Jr. was under the leadership of our dear Pastor John L. Brooks M. Div., until his passing. Chris Jr. graduated May 16, 2016 a semester early at Raytown High School. At the age of 16 he met his beautiful girlfriend Tailer Monroe which is the mother of his only child, Christopher Hutson III. Chris and Tailer were inseparable since they met. Chris Jr shared his last moments holding Tailer's hand. Chris Jr. worked at Synchrony Financial as a customer service representative with his mother until his untimely passing. Chris Jr. and his mom shared a bond like no other. There were no secrets kept between them. Chris Jr. was Carthesa's protector as well. He took the role very seriously. His mom depended on him for so much. Carthesa always stated she, 'never knew true love until she stared into his beautiful face,' they would often cry together while listening to their song Zion. Carthesa would always change the name to Chris because she felt the song was written for him. The love that Chris Jr. and Carthesa shared will be experienced with no one ever again. Chris Jr. and his father shared the craziest relationship. Chris Jr. always mirrored his life after his dads. Big Chris was Lil Chris's hero. Every important decision involved his dad. Chris Jr. spent his entire 19 years of his life trying his best to make his dad proud, and he did! His dad never let a moment go by without correcting and loving his son. Chris Sr. will always be the hero that he believed his dad to be. Chris Jr. had several mothers in his life, but no one took the place of his god mother Cecilia. She spoiled him rotten, there was nothing he couldn't have or get from his G'ma! Chris Jr. shared an extremely special bond with his mother's sister. They never let a birthday, holiday, or any special moment go by without being right by his side. He also shared a special bond with his favorite uncles Jamond, Tim, Joe, Edwin, Antoine, and his cousin T.J. Chris Jr. shared an unbreakable bond with his maternal grandmother, Wurline Dillard and his paternal grandmother, Yvonne P. Hutson. Chris Jr. could no wrong in their eyes. He was always the apple of his papa Joe Dillard's eye. Last but not least we cannot let this end without acknowledging his four special childhood friends, Dontae Jenkins, Darnell Akins, Briana Barrett, and Marquez Groves. Chris Jr. loved basketball, family vacations, video games, and spending time with his family and girlfriend. Chris Jr. was so excited to meet his 1st and only son Christopher Hutson III (Trip) and be the best dad he could be. Chris, your son will know everything about you and we will make sure that he loves you just as much as we do. YOUR LEGACY WILL LIVE ON THROUGH US!! SEE YOU LATER SON. He was met at Heaven's door by his paternal grandfather, Samuel Hutson Jr., two great grandmothers, five great aunts, and one uncle. His legacy will be carried on through his loving parents, Christopher Sr. and Carthesa Hutson; two brothers, Desmond and Jaiden Hutson; his girlfriend, Tailer Monroe and unborn son, Christopher Hutson III; and a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, and friends. Memorial service will be Thursday, June 8, 2017, 11:00 a.m. at Macedonia Baptist Church. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
