Clarkston C. Myers, Sr., 76, KCMO, passed away on May 31, 2016. He was born February 19, 1940 to the late Leonard R. Myers and Mayetta (Clark) Myers in St. Louis, Missouri. He was also preceded in death by his son, Clarkson C. Myers, Jr.; sister, Frankie D. Myers; grandson, Terrail L. Myers and niece, Felecia D. Myers. 'Uncle Bubby', as he was affectionately known, graduated from Washington High School in Kansas City, Kansas. He worked for General Motors for three years before gaining employment with the City of KCMO Public Works for twenty-one years, from which he retired. Clarkston then returned to school to earn his CNA certification. Clarkston loved to fish and fix things. He also was a collector and enjoyed playing cards. He loved spending time with his family and friends, and will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him. He leaves to cherish his memory: his wife, Ardelia Williams; children, LaTonya A. Myers and Clarkston C. Myers III; brothers, Joe Cooper, Jr. and Leonard Myers, Jr. and Anthony Mahan; granddaughters, Shakesha Myers and Denesha Myers; great grandchildren, DaNaeja Myers, Terriana Myers, Terrail Myers, Terrionte Myers and Camarion Myers; special friend, Martha Mitchell; ex-wife, Mae D. Myers; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, June 11, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Private disposition.
