Clyde L. Brown, Jr. was born on March 13, 1948 in Kansas City, Kansas to Clyde L. Brown, Sr and Charlie Mae Roberson. He was preceded in death by his parents.

Clyde was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, MO

He met and married the love of his life, Gladys Redmond-Brown on October 17, 1967.

He was employed by the Kansas City Mo School District as a security officer until retirement. He also worked security at various clubs in the city. Clyde loved his work, and he also loved to dance.

He departed this life on July 2, 2020 at St. Joseph Hospital. He will truly be missed by those who knew and loved him.

He leaves to cherish his memory: wife, Gladys Brown, Raytown; two sons, Ronald D. Brown, Kansas City, MO; Jerald A. Brown, Raytown; one brother, Charles Brown (Jackie) Kansas City, MO.; three sisters, Mary A. Brown, Kansas City, MO; Patricia A. Pryor, Kansas City, MO.; Karen Busby (Milton), Florida; four grandchildren, Ronald Brown, Ronniesha Brown, Syn'Toria Bradly, De'Arie Brown, nine great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services Saturday, July 11, at 6:00 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation 5:00 pm- 6:00 pm at the chapel. Service conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared o our website. Due to the COVID 19 Pandemic and the City Ordiance guest are required to wear mask.
