Danayla was a beautiful baby Girl that departed this earth to meet our Father in Heaven at a short age of 7months on Wednesday, April 16, 2025, at Children's Mercy Hospital of Kansas City, Missouri.

Kelia Davis and Daseaujuan Wood joyfully welcomed their beautiful bundle of joy into the world on August 20, 2024, in Kansas City, Missouri. Danayla loved her family and deeply enjoyed spending quality time with everyone. Danayla especially enjoyed listening to music. Her favorite most soothing song was "Love All Over Me," by Monica. After a long stay at Children's Mercy Hospital, Danayla was delightfully able to join her entire family for a short period of time in early April; but was unfortunately readmitted hours later to Children's Mercy where her life sadly ended weeks later - after a long fight to live. Even though Danayla was only here for a short period of time, she was a blessing to have; and softened the hearts of everyone privileged to have Danayla in their lives. Danayla's family and friends deeply mourn her departure from this life and are full of deep gratitude for the time God blessed them to have Danayla in their lives.

Danayla is preceded in death by her maternal Great Grandparents Lutricia and Anthony Northern, Great Uncle's: Ronnie Davis and Andre Davis; Paternal Great Grandmother Cora Lee Lackey and Uncle Javonte Slayton. Danayla will be truly missed by her parents, family and friends. Along with her parents Danayla leaves to mourn her five sisters & two brothers- Shyleah, Daeonna, D'Nyia, Da'Mari and Daemon Wood, Deveaha Hutchinson and Tarji Gildon. Maternal Grandparents James & NyKita Williams; and Paternal Grandparents Lola Brown and Jason Chase; and a host of loving Aunt's, Uncle's, cousins and friends.
