Daniel G. Porchia, 64 of Grandview, MO, passed away Friday, February 5, 2021.

Daniel G. Porchia was born May 11, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri to the late Macon Porchia, Sr. and Mamie Porchia.

Daniel was educated in the Kansas City, Missouri Public School District. He worked for Whelan Security Company for many years.

He accepted Christ, loved the Lord and was a member of St. James United Methodist Church.

Daniel loved his family, friends and pets. He enjoyed watching wrestling, playing the guitar, and music.

On Friday, February 5, 2021, Daniel went home to be with the Lord. He is preceded in death by his father Macon Porchia, Sr., his mother Mamie Porchia and his siblings: Macon Porchia Jr., Anthony Porchia and Phyllis Porchia.

He leaves to cherish his memory his beloved friends: Kim Lee, Kamira Jones, his niece Maconna Porchia, his nephew Phillip Cleveland, as well as host of uncles, aunts, cousins and friends.

Memorial Service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, February 13, 2021 at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors Chapel. Disposition Private. No visitation. Due to COVID 19 masks are required. Services provided by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared at the website
