On June 4, 2017, David Leonard Abrams gained his wings. he was born October 6, 1992 to Theresa Abrams and David Whitmire. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents, Leonard and Mamie Jackson; paternal aunt, Melzina "Kizzy" Love and best friend, Marlin Williams. David received his education in the KCMO and Center School Districts. As an avid drummer, he marched with the Marching Cobras and the Wildcats while in school. David was good with his hands from a young age, living up to his nickname "Mr. Fix It", giving to him by his grandfather Leonard. He could do anything from cars to remodeling homes. There was nothing he couldn't fix, which served him well working with Aldolphsen Construction. David became a father at an early age, but he was good at it. He loved being a dad and also enjoyed being an uncle. He leaves to cherish his memory: his sons, Desmond and Josiah; daughters, Mariah and Kia'rah; father, David Whitmire of KCMO; mother, Theresa Abrams-Hardy and stepfather, Thomas of KCKS; paternal grandparents, Jerry and Evelyn Love of KCMO; maternal siblings, LeClaborne Abrams (Kyler), Mikel Hardy, Kennedrica Abrams (Dashawn), Nakita Whitmire (Mike); paternal siblings, Vegas Hudspeth, Skie'krah Whitmire and David Whitmire, Jr.; beloved uncle, Zack Abrams (Yolanda); paternal aunts, Bernadette Yeakey, Evelyn Love and Jericka Love; maternal aunts, Michelle Butler (John), Christina Nevels (Elliot); nephews, DaShawn Jr. and Shaun Jr.; nieces, Makhiya and R'Mani; and a host of cousins, other family and friends.
