David Webster Frowner, 53, passed away on September 28, 2019 at Research Medical Center. He was born on May 24, 1966 in Frankfurt, Germany to the very loving union of Rev. Webster Frowner and Beverly Frowner. His mother, Beverly Jean Frowner; grandson, Nazir Ray and great niece, Kyra Spencer Williams all preceded him in death.
In 1967, the family moved to Chicago, Illinois where David attended grammar school through high school. In 1983, the family relocated to Kansas City, Missouri where he graduated from Southeast High School class of 1984. After high school he enlisted in the United States Army and was stationed in Germany for three years, from which he received an honorable discharge.
David accepted Christ at an early age and was baptized. He attended First Regular Baptist Church in Kansas City, Missouri. He attended the men's prayer breakfast and was quick to serve when called upon.
David was a truck driver for United Rentals at the time of his passing. Prior to that he worked with various other companies. He was a member of the Teamster Local Union #541, and a former Union Representative.
David was a loving family man who enjoyed spending quality time with his family and friends. He was known for stepping into into a room and brightening up every ones face. He had a joyful and comedic spirit about him that would keep you smiling and laughing. He loved his K.C. Chiefs, K.C. Royals, Alabama "Roll Tide" and Chicago Cubs. He will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved him.
He leaves to cherish his memory: one son, David W. Frowner, Jr.; two daughters, Kiera L. Hylton and DaVon L. Frowner; father, Pastor Webster C. Frowner; three sisters, Karen Williams, LaSandra A. Frowner and Crystal Frowner; granddaughter, Miyah Tindell; two nephews, Timothy Williams, Jr. and Jedadiah Williams, a host of uncles, aunts, cousins, other relatives and friends.
Funeral services Saturday, October 5, 11:00 a.m. at Grace Baptist Church. Interment Missouri State Veterans Cemetery, Higginsville, Missouri. Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
