Davida M. Carter, 38, was born on November 18, 1978 to the union David Carter and Verlye Jo (Massey) Carter in Kansas City, Kansas. Her parents preceded her in death. After the death of her mother Davida was raised by Mr. and Mrs. Locke. Davida was a lifelong area resident and attended the Kansas City, Kansas public schools. She was a graduate of Washington High School. She furthered her education and obtained her CNA and CMA certification. She was employed by Alliance Health Services. Davida was a member of the Catholic faith all of her life. She enjoyed attending church, shopping and spending time with her grandson, King. She had a beautiful smile that would light up a room when she appeared. She was a loving mother, sister, grandmother and aunt who will be greatly missed by all who know her. She leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Ebone Harris, Kansas City, MO; a grandson, King McDaniel; her siblings, Steve Carter, Robert Carter, Robin Carter, Stephanie Carter, Leslie Carter, Thomas Carter, Chris Carter, Carla Carter and Kelya Massey, a host of nephews, nieces other relatives and friends.
