Debra Marie Dancer entered into the sweet hereafter with Christ on March 25, 2022. She was born on May 9, 1956, to the late Velma (Porter) Cheatom and the late Robert Hannahs in Kansas City, Kansas. She gave her life to Christ on June 14, 1979, at Grace Assembly Church in Kansas City, Missouri. Later in life she was a member of Harvest Church. Debra was employed as a nurse at Truman Medical Center. She was known for her delicious cooking and love of dancing. She was married to the love of her life, Wendell, for 47 years. Debra leaves behind: her husband, Wendell Dancer and three daughters, Wendy Blackmon, Wontae Dancer, and Wendra Pierce. She also leaves behind her step-father Johnnie Cheatom and her siblings: Claude Hannahs, Johnnie Cheatom Jr., Chanel Cheatom, Yvonne Cheatom, Carol Cheatom, and Sharon Cheatom. She also leaves behind five grandchildren: Genesis Dancer, Alyese Hill, Christian Paige, Brooklyn Paige, and Myah Pierce Memorial service will be held Saturday, April 2, 2022 at 2:30 p.m., Harvest Church International.
