Ms. Delia 'Dede' Hatch, 64, was born July 6, 1952 in Kansas City, Missouri. She was the eldest of five born to the union of Mr. Provine 'Little' Hatch, Jr. and Mrs. Modie Lee Hill Hatch, both whom preceded her in death. She departed this life on August 15, 2016. Even though Dede was mentally challenged, she graduated from East High School and walked across the stage to receive her diploma. Everyone was so proud of her! She was even employed for a short while at the Internal Revenue Service and Goodwill Industries. Dede confessed her love for Christ many years ago as a Baptist, and held on to that faith until her last days. Boy, did she love to go to church and sing! She was a loving, happy and caring person. Also, she was free-hearted and would give you the last of whatever she had even though sometimes being taken advantage of and made fun of due to her condition. She leaves to cherish her memory: two brothers, Mr. Provine 'Brother' Hatch III and Mr. David Dewayne Hatch; two sisters, Ms. Patricia 'Pat' Hatch and Ms. Mona Lisa Hatch Shouse; a play big sister, Ms. Perline Evens, all of whom reside in Kansas City, MO; a host of nephews (great and great-great), nieces (great and great-great), other relatives and many dear friends.
