Delores Henderson was born December 4, 1953, to Joseph and Marjorie Henderson in Marvell, Arkansas.
She was preceded in death by her parents Marjorie and Joseph Henderson, a son Howard Leon Taylor, a sister Brenda Momodou, and nephews: Jerry Henderson and Frank Selkirk.
Delores attended Paseo High School. She went on to work at Ford Motor Company and later Hallmark Cards where she retired. She was a member of New Beginnings Christian Church under the teachings of Pastor Tony Swan.
She enjoyed baking cakes, pies, fudge, and banana bread. She enjoyed spending time with all her family, making jokes, and laughing. She also loved gardening and decorating for all holidays.
Delores loved her cats and watching football especially the Kansas City Chiefs but most of all she enjoyed being a mother and Grandmother. Annie Sims was her favorite sister they spent lots of time together watching television, drinking tea, and just talking.
She departed this life on October 17, 2022 at 2:52 am at Research Medical Center.
She leaves to cherish her memory her husband Greg Nafus, two daughters: Felicia Henderson and Shonetta Taylor, three sisters: Annie Sims, Shirley Graham, and Linda Watkins; two brothers Eloris Henderson and Bobby Henderson, her grandchildren Antonio, Adrian, Joseph, Leron, Akiya, Kahmis, Treyvon, Aarika, Kennedi, Aaron, Messiah; 10 great grandchildren, a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
