Denise Richardson, 60, KCMO, passed away on November 17, 2016. She was born January 23, 1956 in Kansas City, Missouri to Earline Nelson and Ardred Shackelford. Preceding her in death were her parents; sister, Regina Gilbert and son, Myron Sallard. Denise was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, Missouri. She was such a loving and compassionate, which were qualities she displayed throughout her career as a caregiver for a number of years. She is survived by her sons, Andre Murrell, Isaac Murrell and Michael Sallard; husband, Hosea Richardson; brothers, Nathaniel Washington and Lewis Murrell; sister, Arolyn Brown; daughters-in-law, April Blewett Murrell and Asia Jackson; grandsons, Isaac Murrell, Jr. and Isaiah Murrell; great granddaughter, Iyanna Murrell; nephews, Asa Barnes and Steven Gilbert; nieces, Marian Murrell, Adina Murrell, Tracy Murrell and Deborah Murrell; a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, December 3, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Private disposition. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the church.
