Dennice Fields Sims, 98, was born to Georgiana Fields -Snelling on January 19, 1922 in Pine Bluff, Arkansas, she was eldest of six children born. She married Joe Dalton Sims July, 1944 who has preceded her in death. She was also preceded in death by siblings, Shirley Umble, Horace Fields, Delores Lee and her lifetime friend R.T. Griggs .

Dennice Sims was a residence of Kansas City, MO for over 70 years. There she established extended family, Frenchie Edwards, daughter of R.T. Griggs and wonderful neighbors Andre Howard and Greg Alan. We would also like to acknowledge Clarissa Hill who was married to her cousin for being very instrumental to us during the Pandemic.

Dennice departed this life on April 28, 2020 at Centerpoint Hospital.

She leaves to cherish her memory, Barbara Robinson who lives in Milwaukee, WI and Joe Wesley and sister in law (Billie) of South Bend, IN; a host of other nephews, nieces, cousins other relatives and friends.
