Denver Canady, 78, died on Monday, September 7, 2020 in Morrilton, Arkansas. He was born on May 4, 1942 to the union of Elbert Canady and Malendy (Byers) Canady in Cleveland, Arkansas. He was preceded by his parents, five siblings, Levi Canady, Willie Canady, Seletha Kyle, Dewitt Canady and Joseph Canady.

Denver attended the Conway Training School in Menifee, Arkansas and graduated in 1961 and moved to Kansas City, Missouri where he made his home for 41 years. He was united in marriage to Wanda Robinson on August 23, 1963 and to this union two children were born. He was employed at General Motors Fairfax Plant in Kansas City, Kansas and retired after 30 years of service.

Denver united with the Swope Parkway Church of Christ in Kansas City, Missouri on February 13, 1990. In 2002 Denver and Wanda relocated to Menifee, Arkansas to enjoy their retirement. They united with the Menifee Church of Christ. He enjoyed fishing, watching football, playing cards with his uncles and friends, talking to his grandchildren and planting in his garden.

He leaves to cherish his memory, his spouse, Wanda Canady, his children, Fred Canady (Mia) and Trina Canady; five brothers, Shelton Canady, Roscoe Canady, Michael Canady (Deb), Jerry Canady and Glenn Canady; two sisters, Ollie Mae Pledger (Ollie) and Serviner Willis; two grandchildren, Ciera Canady and Cameron Canady; one great grandson, Jahri Johnson, a host of nephews, nieces, cousins other relatives and friends.
