Derrick Shawn Judie, Jr. was born on August 21, 2004, to Derrick Judie, Sr. and Nicole

Durham. He was raised in Grandview, MO, and graduated from Ruskin High School.

After graduation, he joined the US Army Reserve and worked as a private security

guard. He had plans to attend Missouri Western this month to study business and

potentially become a physical therapist.

Derrick was an active member of Canaan Worship Center under Dr. Tony Cobbins and

accepted Christ at an early age.

He was preceded in death by his father, Derrick Judie, Sr., uncle Levert Judie,

grandfather Rick Durham, and great grandmother Mae Lois Jackson.

He is survived by his mother/grandmother Betty Judie, his mother Nicole Durham,

sisters Cournesh, Branch, and Imani Judie, brothers Deshawn, Deanthony, and Deyvon

Judie, uncles Alfred Ray Judie and Verlin Judie, and grandmother Sheila Durham. He

will be missed by numerous friends and family members.
