Diane (Allen) Cole, 61, was born July 22, 1954 in Kansas City, Missouri to Marion Lee Rudd and Reola Allen. Her parents preceded her in death. As a lifelong area resident, Diane was educated in the public schools of Kansas City, Missouri. She was united in marriage to a loving and devoted husband of over thirty years, Arthur Joe Cole. Diane devoted her life to her family and together the couple spent a lot of time rehabbing properties around the Kansas City metro area. The last house they renovated became their home for over twenty years. Diane also enjoyed reading and spending quality time with her family. Diane departed this life on March 20, 2016 at Truman Medical Center, surrounded by family and friends. She leaves to cherish her memory: one daughter, Carlotta Hall (Shelton); three brothers, Marion Allen (Gwen), Edward Allen and Ronnie Allen; one uncle, Willie 'Johnnie' Barnes; one sister, Clarene Banks (Timothy); three grandchildren, Ryan Scott, Raphael Cole and Crystal Cook; one great granddaughter, Zy'Riah Scott; four nephews, one nice and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, March 26, 2:00 p.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment Memorial Park Cemetery. Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m.-2:00 p.m. at the church.
