Mother Dimple Yvonne Farr, 73, peacefully passed away on Thursday evening, January 12, 2017 at Research Medical Center. She was born June 8, 1943 in Kansas City, Missouri. Mother Farr was the beloved wife and best friend of her one and only love, the late Archie Louis Farr of Kansas City, Missouri. Archie, along with her father, Sullivan Jackson; mother, Alice (Davis) Jackson; brothers, Sullivan Jackson, Jr. and Thomas Leon Jackson; beloved sisters, Lunree Nunn, Mary Lee Poindexter, Ollie Pearl Green, Madeline Shepard, and Ester Louise Jackson; and a loving daughter, Alice Faye Jackson. Mother Farr accepted Christ as her Savior at a young age. She truly loved the Lord and loved serving others. Mother Farr also loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great grandchildren. Mother Farr was truly blessed. Mother Farr leaves to cherish her memory: three daughters, Tonie L. McKinney (Darrell), Cherita H. Blakely (Jonathan), and Kesha M. Parrish (Alfie); one brother, Norbert E. Jackson; two sisters, Sharon Kay Shelby and Victoria Simpson; fourteen grandchildren, twenty-one great grandchildren and a host of nephews, nieces, other loving relatives and friends. Memorial services will be Saturday, January 21, 11:00 a.m. at Beth Judah Ministries Church of God in Christ. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors.
