Donald Burnell Milligan, Sr. was born to Queen Esther Wilson and Newton Milligan, Jr. on August 22, 1948 in St Louis, Missouri, one of eight children. He died unexpectedly on December 30, 2018 at the age of 70. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother, Foster Milligan.

Donald received his education in Muskogee, Oklahoma and was a graduate of Muskogee High School in 1966.

Donald was united in holy matrimony to Jessie Torrance from May 1972 through August 1982. To this union three children were born: Donald Jr., Eric and Adrian. Donald had a longtime companion, Darlene Hollis from 1982 until her death in 2006.

Donald worked as a bus driver and as well as a home healthcare aide for many years. He loved playing spades, dominoes, spending time with family. He also enjoyed watching old movies, especially westerns.

Donald leaves to cherish his memory: eleven children, Mia McDaniel, Donald Milligan, Jr. (CA), Eric Milligan, Sr., Adrian Milligan, Lashon Hunter, Donald Hunter, Natasha Prezident, Antwan Prezident, Delonda Hollis, Octavia Hollis and Keion Milligan; five sisters, Vivian Burton, Toni Ross, Audrey McCullom, Denise Banks and Lannie Simms; two brothers, Newton Milligan III and Anthony Milligan; several grandchildren and great grandchildren, and a host of nieces, nephews, other family and friends.
