Donald Lee Price, Sr., 76, passed away on February 22, 2019 at Research Medical Center. He was born March 22, 1942 in Kansas City, Missouri to the union of John Price and Della Mae Price. Donald was preceded in death by both parents, his beloved wife, Jerlene Kemp Price, four brothers, Lawrence Worten, James "Bubble" Price Melvin Price and Ronald Price.

Donald was educated in Kansas City, Missouri public schools. He was employed by Ford Motor Company.

Donald lived his best life and found a happy balance between work, family and friends. He was a classic man; his good taste in men's fashion was very impressive and gratifying during the 70's and 80's. Donald had a love for Stetson hats, three piece suits, Stacy Adams shoes.

Donald enjoyed every minute of his social life. In his leisure he enjoyed spending time with family and friends, playing cards and dominoes. He loved Billiard games and 8 Ball Pool, a sport he mastered for many decades and rarely loss a match.

Donald confessed his faith in Christ at an early age. He attended Morning Star Baptist Church. Later in life Donald faithfully watched Sunday morning sermon's from T.D Jakes Ministries and Creflo Dollar Ministries.

Donald leaves to cherish his memory: one son, Donald Lee Price, Jr. of Overland Park, KS; one daughter, Nicole Price of St. Louis, MO; one step-son, Reece Germany; one sister, Thelma Price Young of Los Angeles, CA; several lifetime friends, Calvin Nicholson and Norman Lee Williams; and a long host of nephews, nieces, cousins, and other relatives. Donald will be missed and fondly remembered by many friends.

Memorial services Saturday, March 2, 11:00 a.m. at Mt. Olive Missionary Baptist Church, 9220 W. 50th Terr, Merriam, KS. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
