Donell Darell Manning, 40, KCMO, passed away on October 24, 2016. Affectionately known as 'Tiny', he was born December 29, 1975 in Shreveport, Louisiana to the union of George Neal and Loretta Manning-Neal. His grandfather, Elmo Manning; grandmother, Bertha Manning; aunt, Joyce Manning and niece, Alisha La'Nae Ferrell all preceded him in death. Donell was educated in the Kansas City School District. At the age of sixteen he entered Job Corp, earning two certificates and completing two terms in Masonry and Brick Laying. Donell married to the love of his life, LaToya Denise Brown, who was his best friend on February 16, 2002. From this union one child was born, DonToya. Ms. Brown also had three children on her own, TaQue'sha, Anthony and Alexis who Donell helped to raise as his own. He leaves to cherish his precious memory: his wife, LaToya D. Brown-Manning; four children, DonToya D. Manning, TaQue'sha Parks, Anthony Lewis and Alexis Lewis; his parents, George and Loretta Neal; three brothers, Kenneth Manning (Niki), George T. Manning and Cameron Manning (Meka); two sisters, Shanice Neal (Abdul) and Tamiesha Ferrell (Alhmon); father-in-law, Ollie Brown, Jr.; mother-in-law, Minister Deborah Givhan; best friend, Derwin Norton and a host of uncles, aunts, nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends. Funeral services will be Saturday, October 29, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be from 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the chapel.
