Obituary

Ms. Donna Marie McKeown, age 47 was born August 8, 1971 in Flint, Michigan to Frazier McKeown and Evelyn McKeown. She was preceded in death by her mother; a brother, Frederick McKeown at six months old; stillborn baby sister; brother-in-law, Andrew Mays; grandparents, aunts and uncles.

Donna attended Beecher School District in Flint, Michigan. She was employed at Med Linc CAN School in Kansas City, MO. She was faithful and dedicated worker, always on time and caring for the elderly and residents at the nursing facility. She had a personality for caring for all people and caring about other people's burdens and caring for those in need. She had a caring heart, just like her sister Belinda.

Donna was happy person, always laughing and smiling from ear to ear and always talking and telling jokes, despite all the turmoil and anguish that was going on in her life. She always managed to keep a big beautiful a smile on her face. Her pride and joy was caring for and raising her children. Donna Marie took her three children to three different schools every day while she often sat at the children's school and talked to the staff while the children were in class. She enjoyed playing games on the computer and face book, where she kept in contact with many face book friends. Donna will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved her.

Ms. Donna Marie McKeown leaves to cherish her memory: two sons, Paris Patrick Spicer (Markeeshia) of Flint, MI and Isiah Kerr of Kansas City, MO; two daughters, Danielle and Savannah Kerr of Kansas City, MO; a grandson, Kortez Spicer of Flint, MI; her father, Frazier McKeown (Emma); two brothers, Bruce McKeown of Flint, MI and Ricky McKeown (Valencia) of Kansas City, MO; two sisters, Belinda Mays and Wanda McKeown (Rodney) both of Flint, MI; her childhood playmate and cousin, Elmore Hughes (Snoo), and one of her best friends, Mrs. Debbie White, both of Flint, MI; five nephews, six nieces, and a host of great nephews, great nieces, other relatives and friends.

Funeral services Saturday, December 15, 11:00 a.m. at Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Interment XII Gates Memorial Gardens. Visitation 10:00-11:00 a.m. at the chapel. Services conducted by Duane E. Harvey Funeral Directors. Condolences may be shared on our website.
