Dora Lee (Caldwell) Smith, 73, departed this world on December 4, 2017 at the home. She was born May 17, 1944 in Kansas City, Kansas to the late Raymond and Lillie Caldwell. She was the eighth of eight siblings, all of whom preceded her in death.

Dora received the Lord Jesus Christ as her personal Savior at Mt. Carmel Baptist Church, under the leadership of Pastor Otis Lloyd.

Dora received her formal education in Kansas City, Kansas and graduated from Rosedale high School. She was employed at the Ammunition Plant, Armour Foods, and retired as a C.N.A. in 2006.

Dora was united in holy matrimony to James Smith, Sr. To this union three daughters were born.

She leaves to cherish her memory: three daughters, Delisia (Net), Sheila and Michelle; three grandchildren, Dominic Andre Jr. and Syeshia; and a host of nephews, nieces, cousins, other relatives and friends.
