Obituary

Doris Hall, 89 was born May 21, 1933, in Alexandria, Louisiana to Milton and Essie (Banks) Wright. Doris was the eldest of 10 children.

Doris accepted Christ at an early age. After she moved to Kansas City, MO, she united with Progressive Baptist, and later she united with Paradise Baptist Church. Doris served on a number of ministries and missions within her church.

Doris united in marriage to Harold Nelson Sr. in 1954, they were blessed with three children, two daughters and a son. Doris later married Henry Hall and remained united until his death.

Doris was employed at Kansas University Medical Center for over 20 years where she supervised Environmental Services. She was a member of American Business Women Association (ABWA), for over 30 years. Doris enjoyed traveling and had accomplished travel to every state but Alaska and Hawaii. She was a big fan of watching black and white movies.

Doris was preceded in death by her husband Henry Hall, parents Milton and Essie Wright, three brothers Sylvester Banks, James Wright, and Johnny Wright.

Doris leaves to cherish her memory, two daughters, Aleria Banks, Orlando FL, Joyce (Larry) Thompson, Pleasant Valley, MO, one son Harold (Pam) Nelson Jr., Independence, MO, four brothers, Fred (Estelle) Banks, Belton, MO, Milton (Lula) Wright Detroit, MI, Otis (Linda) Wright, Farmerville, LA, Havis (Chonita) Wright, Pleasant Hill, MO, two sisters Ruby Smith, El Dorado, AR, Beverly Abrams, Detroit, MI. Seven grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
